Los Angeles, April 4
The trailer of Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh-starrer 'Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha' was unveiled on Saturday afternoon.
The film's cast, including Mrunal, Adivi, and Anurag Kashyap, stepped out in Mumbai to launch the trailer in the presence of media members.
The trailer takes audiences on the journey of two dacoits, layered backstory, high-octane action sequences and evolving dynamic, which make for a compelling watch.

Mrunal and Adivi Sesh have now reached Hyderabad to unveil the Telugu version of the trailer.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, the movie is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2026.
The film was earlier set for a March 19 release, but the makers reportedly decided to shift the date as other big films, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', were also planned for the same day.
Adivi Sesh was last seen in HIT: The Second Case (2022), directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The film followed the story of police officer Krishna Dev, also known as KD, who investigates a series of crimes involving female victims as part of the HIT unit in Andhra Pradesh.

Good move shifting the release date. Clashing with another big film like 'Dhurandhar' would have hurt both movies' collections. Wise decision by the producers. Hope the extra time is used for perfecting the VFX.
Adivi Sesh is a brilliant actor, loved him in HIT. But another dacoit film? Feels like we've seen this genre many times before. I hope the 'prem katha' angle brings something fresh to the table. Wishing the team all the best though!
Interesting that they launched it in LA and then Mumbai and Hyderabad. Clearly aiming for a pan-India, maybe even global appeal. The production values look top-notch. Anurag Kashyap in the cast is always a sign of quality.
2026 release? That's two years away! Why unveil the trailer so early? By the time the movie comes out, people will forget the hype. This strategy seems a bit odd, yaar.
Mrunal Thakur is such a versatile actress. From a simple girl in 'Sita Ramam' to a dacoit here! She's choosing such powerful roles. More power to her! The backdrop looks like Chambal, very authentic setting.
