Balloons now? This is getting ridiculous. It feels like a deliberate show of force to intimidate. The international community needs to pay more attention to these provocations. 🇮🇳

As an Indian, I see parallels with how China behaves on our borders. This pattern of incremental pressure – ships, aircraft, now balloons – is a familiar tactic. Taiwan's restraint is commendable.

The article mentions the CCG's "missions protecting China's maritime rights." This is the same language used in the South China Sea. It's about asserting dominance, not protection. The world should see through this.

While I understand Taiwan's security concerns, I hope both sides can find a diplomatic path forward. Constant military posturing increases the risk of a miscalculation. Dialogue is crucial, however difficult.

The Taiwanese defense ministry seems very transparent, posting regular updates on X. This is good for regional awareness. Stability in the Indo-Pacific is in everyone's interest, including India's.
