This is wonderful news! His "Awam aur Jawan" initiative in Kashmir was a masterstroke in building trust. A soldier-statesman with a deep understanding of both security and public sentiment is exactly what Bihar needs right now. Best wishes to him!
A very capable appointment. His advocacy for Sharda Peeth shows he understands our civilizational heritage. Hope he brings the same dedication to governance in Bihar. The reshuffle before RS polls is also a smart political move by the Centre.
While I respect his service, I hope his tenure focuses on Bihar's pressing issues like education and healthcare, and isn't overshadowed by other agendas. Governors should be apolitical facilitators for state development.
Great to see a distinguished military leader taking up a constitutional role. His experience in handling complex situations will be invaluable. The transfer of L-G Saxena to Ladakh is also interesting, given the strategic importance of the region.
Sharda Peeth is a matter of faith for so many. Having a Governor who champions its cause gives hope. May his appointment be a step towards reclaiming this sacred site in PoK. All the best, Sir!
