Salman Khan attends RSS centenary event in Mumbai
Mumbai, February 7
Actor Salman Khan arrived at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Mumbai Vyakhyanmala event on Saturday, a two-day lecture series themed "100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons."
As the actor arrived at the venue amid tight security, fans in the crowd pulled out their phones to take pictures of their favorite star.
Meanwhile, the program is being held as part of the RSS centenary celebrations. It reflects on the organization's long journey, its role in society, and the ideas shaping its future.
The two-day event, which began on February 7, will conclude on February 8, 2026, at the Nehru Centre Auditorium in Mumbai. It brings together senior RSS leaders and invited speakers.
Members of the public are also involved in the discussions, which aim to share views and ideas during the Sangh's 100-year celebrations.
The event is part of the RSS's broader outreach during its centenary year.

Salman bhai is everywhere! From movies to Bigg Boss to now this. Fans just want a photo, they probably don't care about the lecture theme. Typical Mumbai scene. 😄
The RSS completing 100 years is a significant milestone in India's socio-cultural landscape. It's good they are opening up discussions to the public. More transparency is always welcome.
As an outsider following Indian news, this seems like a smart PR move. Using a celebrity's appeal to draw attention to their centenary and ideas. The power of star culture in India is real.
I have mixed feelings. While dialogue is good, I hope the "new horizons" include a more inclusive vision that truly represents all Indians, not just a particular ideology. The proof will be in their actions.
Whether one agrees with them or not, an organization surviving for a century deserves a hearing. Let's see what their vision for the next 100 years is. The theme "New Horizons" sounds promising.
