This is terrifying. 54 injured and 18 missing - the numbers are truly alarming. I hope Qatar's emergency services are doing everything possible. Industrial safety standards need a serious review globally, not just in Qatar.

Thank God no gas leaks reported. But 54 injured is no small matter - many of those could be our own people working there. The Indian embassy should be in touch with authorities. Praying for everyone involved.

Technical malfunction during start-up... these things happen but 18 missing is very concerning. Hope Qatar government ensures proper compensation and medical care for victims. Also hope they share details about nationalities of affected people soon.

As someone who works in industrial safety, this is a stark reminder that even the most advanced facilities can have accidents. The Barzan facility is relatively new. Investigations will be crucial to prevent recurrence. Thoughts with all affected families.

So many Indian families must be worried sick right now. Ras Laffan has thousands of Indian workers. Hope rescue teams find the missing soon. Also, why are such accidents still happening despite all safety protocols? Something needs to change! 💔

This is a major incident at one of the world's largest industrial cities. I'm surprised it's not getting more global attention. 54 injured and 18 unaccount
