Workshops are fine, but we need to see accountability. How many of these 80 representatives will actually implement what they learned? It's good that they discussed health and education but rural healthcare accessibility is still a joke in many parts. Talk is cheap, show me results.
As someone working in education, the focus on NEP 2020 and mother tongue-based learning gives me hope. But digital education requires infrastructure—internet, devices, trained teachers. Without that, it's just a slogan. Hope these MPs push for real investment in schools, not just policy talks.
Interesting to see a non-profit focusing on capacity building for politicians. In the US, we have similar things but often they're partisan. The fact that this covers health, education, and digital communication shows a holistic approach. Ayushman Bharat is a solid program—hope they sustain it.
Tarun Chugh as president of this foundation—hmm, it's a BJP-led initiative, so of course there's political undertone. But if it genuinely helps MPs from all parties work better, I'm all for it. Just wish these workshops weren't so Delhi-centric. Need more such things in state capitals.
Good governance starts with listening to the people, not just holding workshops. I appreciate the effort but we need more citizen engagement—town halls, feedback mechanisms. Also, why no discussion on environment or agriculture? Those are huge issues for rural India. 😐
