Good to see diplomacy in action. The personal touch of conveying Eid greetings to Oman, Malaysia, and Qatar is a nice cultural gesture that strengthens ties. Hope this leads to concrete steps for peace and the safe return of any remaining Indian nationals.

While dialogue is important, I hope our foreign policy also clearly prioritizes protecting Indian interests and citizens above all. Appreciating Jordan and Oman for their help is good, but we need a stronger, independent stance that doesn't rely on others for evacuations.

As an expat in the Gulf, this is reassuring. Stability in the Strait of Hormuz is vital for global trade and oil prices. India playing a constructive role is good for everyone. The condemnation of attacks on energy infrastructure is a strong, necessary message.

Talking is good, but what next? The article lists conversations but not any clear outcomes or action plans. The region is a tinderbox. India has good relations with many players; we should use that leverage to propose a concrete mediation roadmap, not just statements.

The outreach to Malaysia and France shows a broad perspective. It's not just about the Gulf. This crisis affects the whole world. Proud that our Prime Minister is actively engaging on the global stage. Hope the focus on dialogue yields results for peace soon. 🙏
