Good to see the PM and others paying tribute. But sometimes these posts feel like mere formalities. The real tribute would be to actively work on the ground for social upliftment and women's empowerment that Mannathu Padmanabhan championed.

As someone who studied in Kerala, the impact of NSS and Mannam's vision on the education system there is profound. His legacy is a living one, not just a memory. More power to such reformers!

"To serve is to live" – what a powerful quote highlighted by Tharoor. That should be the motto for every public servant. Mannam's life is a masterclass in selfless service. Jai Hind.

A true Bharata Kesari! His fight against social evils and for women's rights was ahead of its time. We need to remember that social reform is a continuous process, not just history.

Respectful tributes are fine, but I wish our current discourse focused more on his methods—organizing communities through education—rather than just using his name. The NSS model of community service is still relevant.
