Respectful tribute, but actions speak louder than tweets. We need to see more concrete policies and funding for girls' education, especially in rural areas, to truly honor her legacy.

As an expat following Indian history, Savitribai Phule's story is incredible. Starting the first school for girls in 1848! That's decades before many Western nations. A global pioneer.

My daughter did a project on her last year. The courage it took to face abuse (people threw dung at her) just for teaching girls... We owe her so much. Jai Savitribai! 💪
