Good to hear about the Innovation and Incubation Centre. But honestly, will this translate to real jobs for our youth? We hear so many grand announcements but ground reality is different. Hope this isn't just another photo-op event. Let's see how many startups actually come out of these centres and survive beyond the funding hype.

As a design graduate from NID itself, this makes me proud! The institute has already produced world-class designers. With government backing, we can truly compete globally in design fields like automotive, UI/UX, and sustainable products. Hope they also focus on faculty development and not just infrastructure. Quality matters, bhai!

While this is a step in right direction, we need to ensure design education reaches tier-2 and tier-3 cities too. Most rural talent gets left out of these elite institutions. Maybe have satellite campuses or online courses? Also, please link this with Make in India and local manufacturing clusters. Otherwise it's just classroom talk.

As an entrepreneur based in Bangalore who works with global clients, I can say Indian design talent is world-class when given right exposure. This initiative could be a game-changer if executed properly. The 'job seekers to job creators' line is spot on - my firm only hires designers who can think independently and innovate. 🇮🇳

Great vision but implementation is key. NID Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are already great - we need similar institutes in states like UP, Bihar, West Bengal. Also, design thinking should be taught in schools, not just at graduate level.
