Good to see government focusing on skill development. But we've seen many such programs before. The real challenge is making youth employable with actual industry needs. Let's see if this outreach programme delivers results beyond just MoUs and photo ops.
Impressive collaboration. As someone who works in HR, I can say these industry linkages are crucial. The Electronics and Automotive skill councils participating is particularly relevant given Gujarat's manufacturing base. Hope similar outreach happens in other states.
Namo Gujarat Kaushalya Mission - good name and good intentions. But ground reality is different. Small industries in Gujarat still struggle to find skilled manpower. Government should also focus on vocational training in rural areas and not just fancy hotel events in Ahmedabad. 🏭
The inclusion of PM SETU and Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana is a good step. Apprenticeships are often undervalued in India compared to degrees. This integrated approach could really help bridge the education-employment gap if implemented properly across all districts.
