Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address the conference to be held at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER)

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad held a meeting of the Inter-Departmental Coordination Committee at the state Secretariat on Monday to review the necessary arrangements for the conference.

The Chief Secretary directed officials from the departments concerned to make elaborate preparations for the three-day conference, providing specific guidance on the tasks to be carried out by each department. He noted that the event will be attended by Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, over 200 IPS officers including DGPs and IGPs from various states and Union Territories, as well as approximately 200 Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials, representatives from state and central security forces, the National Security Advisor (NSA), and senior officials from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

What the report makes clear: A national police conference is scheduled in Tirupati from December 4 to 6, with senior central and state officials attending.

Still open: The report does not yet say the full agenda, security plan or public traffic arrangements for the conference days.

Another way to look at it: Hosting over 400 senior officials brings economic and logistical attention to Tirupati, but also temporary pressure on local traffic and services.

What arrangements would you like the authorities to prioritise for such a large event?
