Can't believe it's been so many years since Ray passed, but his work still feels fresh. Feluda stories were my childhood! 😊 Mamata Di's gesture is nice, but I hope the youth in Bengal actually watch his films instead of just remembering him on birthdays.

Ray's contribution to cinema is undeniable, but let's not forget his work as a writer and illustrator too. He was a complete artist. Mamata Banerjee's tribute is respectful, but I wish there was more focus on restoring his films and making them accessible digitally for the younger generation.

Satyajit Ray is a pride for all Indians, not just Bengalis. His Apu Trilogy is a masterpiece of world cinema. Mamata Banerjee acknowledging him is good, but I hope the state government promotes film education around his work. We need more Ray festivals across India! 🙏

I remember watching Charulata in college and being blown away by the storytelling. Ray was ahead of his time. The tribute is nice, but frankly, the government's cultural budget is a joke. Instead of just tweets, invest in film archives and scholarships for young filmmakers.

Truly a gem of Indian culture! Ray's ability to blend realism with emotional depth is unmatched. I just feel sad that many young Indians don't know about his work beyond the name. Mamata Banerjee's tribute is good, but we need to make his films part of school curricula.
