Great to see Maharashtra honouring a true business visionary. Malabar's expansion to 34 showrooms in the state has created so many jobs. Their target of 64 stores by 2029 is ambitious and will be a big boost for the local economy. More power to such homegrown brands making India proud globally.

While the achievements are impressive, I do wonder about the timing of such awards. It often feels like these ceremonies are more about networking between politicians and industrialists than genuine recognition. That said, Mr. Ahammad's work in CSR, especially for women's empowerment, is genuinely commendable and sets a good example.

As someone who recently bought jewellery from Malabar, I can vouch for their quality and service. It's fantastic to know the company behind the product has such strong ethical values. The fact that they contribute profits locally in each country they operate is a model more multinationals should follow.

This is a proud moment for Kerala as well! Though he's being honoured as a Maharashtrian of the Year, we in the South know his roots and are equally proud. Malabar Group shows how Indian entrepreneurship can succeed on the world stage while keeping its soul intact. Bahut badhiya!

The scale is mind-boggling – 5th largest in the world! And with over 30,000 professionals from 26 countries, it's a mini-UN. This award is a testament to the power of vision and hard work. Hope his story inspires the next generation of Indian entrepreneurs to think big and act responsibly.
