Impressive academic credentials too—King's College London, M.Phil in Defence Studies. Our Army needs officers who are both warriors and scholars. Great appointment!
Armoured Regiment to Desert Corps to South Western Command—the man has seen it all. With Pakistan constantly probing, this is exactly the kind of experienced leadership we need on the western front.
As someone who's worked with Indian Army officers on joint exercises, I can say these professionals are second to none. This level of experience—Siachen, staff roles, advanced courses in UK—is world-class.
Hope he brings fresh thinking to modern warfare challenges—drones, cyber, and electronic warfare. The old guard sometimes struggles with these. But his academic background suggests he might be different. Let's see. 🤔
My father served under him in an armoured regiment. Says he's a strict but fair officer who always prioritised soldier welfare. Great that he's got this command! Proud moment for the family. 💪
37 years of service, two master's degrees, two M.Phils, and multiple medals—and still going strong. This is the kind of dedication that makes our Army the best in the region. Salute to Lt Gen
