Meanwhile, Keralam Chief Minister VD Satheesan on Sunday directed authorities to revoke the suspension of a school principal who was suspended over a Facebook post allegedly insulting the Chief Minister.
According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), S Javad, Principal of Attingal Model Higher Secondary School, was suspended by the Director of General Education on Friday. Neither the Chief Minister nor his office had lodged a complaint regarding the matter. The suspension was initiated based on a complaint received from an external party.
The action against the principal came just two days before his retirement. Taking this circumstance into consideration, the Chief Minister instructed officials to withdraw the suspension order.

Very nice to see the CM revoking the principal's suspension. That was a silly action anyway - suspending someone just before retirement for a Facebook post? Glad common sense prevailed. Hope this sets a precedent for not targeting govt employees over minor things.
District-wise responsibility is standard practice. But hope these ministers actually visit the districts regularly and don't just sit in Thiruvananthapuram. Keralam needs focused attention on infrastructure, agriculture, and education in all districts. Let's see how it works out.
The principal suspension news is more interesting than the district assignments. Shows that CM is not one to take revenge on critics. But why did the education department act so hastily? Someone complained and they suspended immediately? That's the real problem - bureaucracy acting without thinking.
Honestly, these ministerial assignments are just paperwork. What matters is whether they actually solve problems on ground. Keralam faces many challenges - waste management, unemployment, education quality. Hope these ministers take their roles seriously and not just as a political posting.
