IUML candidate MA Razak Master starts early campaign in Kunnamangalam, pledges development, education focus, and criticizes LDF's 15-year record.

"I am Master, and I have a master plan for the development of my constituency. - MA Razak Master"

Kozhikode, March 26

United Democratic Front candidate and IUML district president MA Razak Master on Thursday began his early morning election campaign in the Kunnamangalam Assembly constituency, starting his walk at 6 am and meeting residents across the area.

Master interacted with morning walkers, seeking their support and discussing local concerns.

Continuing his campaign trail, he moved through local markets, meeting shopkeepers, vegetable vendors and small business owners, urging them to back him in the upcoming polls.

Speaking to ANI during the campaign, Master said, "I am Master, and I have a master plan for the development of my constituency. The region needs someone who understands the importance of education. Education is a must, and the constituency needs a Master to lead it."

He raised the issue of the 400-acre land earlier allotted to the Birla group, stating that since the land is now free, the government must establish an AIIMS there to strengthen healthcare infrastructure.

Master also alleged collusion between the BJP and LDF, referring to it as a "CJP" nexus. He criticised the sitting LDF MLA, claiming that no significant development had taken place in the area over the past 15 years.

"I have a master plan" and "constituency needs a Master" – clever wordplay but we need concrete details, not just slogans. The Birla land issue has been pending for years. Which government will actually get AIIMS built? Action speaks louder than puns.

Focusing on education is the right priority for Kerala's future. But alleging a "CJP" nexus between BJP and LDF feels like the same old political blame game. Let's hear about your own vision for development, not just criticism of others.

Interesting to see 22 nominations in some constituencies! Shows a vibrant democracy. Hope all candidates focus on local issues like Master is doing with markets and healthcare. The high engagement is good for voters.

As a resident of Kozhikode, I appreciate the early morning effort. But we've heard promises for 15 years from all sides. That 400-acre land is a golden opportunity. Whoever wins, just get the AIIMS project moving. Our families need it.

Meeting vegetable vendors and shopkeepers is how you understand ground reality. This is how campaigning should be done – at the grassroots. Hope other candidates in the 13 constituencies take note. All the best to all genuine candidates! 👍
