Great achievement, no doubt. But I do wish our Indian actresses got this kind of global recognition more often. We have such incredible talent here telling powerful stories about motherhood and family too. The international film industry needs to look beyond the usual circuits.

The film sounds interesting! A story about Shakespeare's family dealing with loss. Might check it out on streaming if it comes. Congrats to Jessie Buckley. Making your country proud on the world stage is a big deal.

Her thanking Ireland for buying her family's flights was so humble and sweet! It shows you never forget your roots. A lovely moment for Irish cinema.

Respectfully, while I appreciate the win, the article feels a bit like a press release. It lists all the nominations and details but doesn't really tell us *why* her performance was considered the best. Would have liked more critical insight into her acting in the role.

Mother's Day in the UK and she gives this speech? Perfect timing! 🥹 Her words about not being defined by expectation really hit home. Our parents in India also push us to dream big, but society often has so many "expectations". More power to her!
