Speaking to ANI, Director, Department of Floriculture, Vivek Modi said, "I am here to see the development and how the Tulips have bloomed. It (The garden) will open within a few days. It will have an e-ticketing system. This has developed a lot. We will submit a report today. The footfall of the tourists will be good this time."

He informed that this year, in the Tulip garden, spread over 35 Kanal land, more than 2 lakh flowers of 25 varieties have been planted.

He further said that there is a fountain in the middle of the garden, with a good lighting arrangement. He stated that within days, the Tulip garden will be open for the public, and tourists will be able to get their bookings through e-ticketing.

The team of gardeners has done an amazing job under the supervision of the Floriculture Department officials," Abdullah said on social media.

Known for its breathtaking vistas, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden boasts not only a splendid array of tulips but also provides sanctuary to an array of other flower species. Amazing development! 2 lakh flowers across 25 varieties sounds spectacular. Hope the authorities also focus on proper waste management and facilities for tourists. We don't want such beautiful places to get spoiled by litter.

First Srinagar, now Sanasar! J&K is showcasing its natural beauty in the best way. This will create local jobs and help the economy. The pictures from Srinagar's garden are already viral. Looking forward to seeing this one too.

As a frequent traveler to India, I'm always impressed by the diversity. A tulip garden in Jammu is unexpected and delightful! The blend of tulips with daffodils and hyacinths must create an incredible sensory experience. Well done to the gardening teams.

Good step, but I hope the ticket prices are reasonable for the common public. Sometimes these "premium" gardens become too expensive for middle-class families. Development should be for everyone's enjoyment, not just a select few.

Heartwarming to see such positive news from Jammu. The hard work of the floriculture department and gardeners deserves all the praise. It's more than a garden; it's a symbol of peace and growth in the region. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
