IPL 2026: When and where to watch SRH vs RR, know all details
Hyderabad, April 12
2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to face Rajasthan Royals in Match No. 21 of the Indian Premier League 2026 to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday.
SRH currently find themselves in the lower half of the points table, placed sixth with just one win from four outings. Their lone victory came against the Kolkata Knight Riders, while they have suffered defeats at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lucknow Super Giants, and Punjab Kings. With consistency proving to be an issue so far, the Hyderabad-based franchise will be eager to bounce back strongly and get their campaign back on track.
In contrast, the Rajasthan Royals have been the standout team of the season so far and sit comfortably at the top of the table. They have registered four wins in as many matches, defeating Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians. Their batting unit has been in formidable form, delivering aggressive performances and consistently putting opposition attacks under pressure.

As a Hyderabadi, it's painful to see SRH struggling like this. The team looks good on paper but the execution is missing. Hope they turn it around at home. Cummins needs to step up as a leader.
Interesting to see the future squads here. Jofra Archer back with RR in 2026? That's a big call if he stays fit. The balance of the Royals squad looks very strong.
Match timing is perfect for a weekday evening. 7:30 PM IST means I can finish work and tune in. Star Sports and Hotstar combo is reliable, no complaints there.
With all due respect, the article focuses a lot on RR's dominance (which is true), but doesn't analyze SRH's weaknesses deeply. Their middle order looks shaky and the bowling lacks penetration in the powerplay. A more balanced preview would be helpful.
The rise of Riyan Parag as captain is the story of the season! From being a talented youngster to leading the table-toppers. Indian cricket's future is in good hands. Can't wait for this clash!
