According to the advisory, traffic restrictions will remain in effect from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM today to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and facilitate the movement of participating contingents and officials.

While the ceremony is spectacular, the traffic advisories are a nightmare for daily commuters in Delhi. I appreciate the need for security, but I wish the arrangements could be managed with a bit more consideration for the common public trying to get home from work.

It's heartening to see our leaders acknowledging the armed forces. "Eko bahunamsi..." - the PM quoting Sanskrit shlokas adds a profound, cultural depth to the message. Our military heritage is ancient and glorious. Salute to all our soldiers!
