Good to see Haryana and Rajasthan CM sitting together. Water sharing is always a sensitive issue in our region. But 2000 crore for Munak Canal to Gurugram? Hope that money is used properly and not lost in contractor scams. Need transparency in these big infrastructure projects.

As someone from Delhi, I'm cautiously optimistic. But remember the 1994 water sharing agreement? Still not fully implemented. Also, what about farmers in Punjab who are already overusing groundwater? Need holistic water management, not just dams. Our rivers are not infinite.

Haryana CM raising water issues is welcome but why only now? These are perennial problems. At least Union Minister is taking proactive steps by calling all states together. Hope they don't drag feet like previous governments. Water is life, especially in our semi-arid regions. 💧

From Rajasthan, we desperately need this water. But also concerned about environmental impact of dam on local communities and forests. Hope proper rehabilitation is done. Development cannot come at cost of displacing people without compensation. Let's remember Sardar Sarovar lessons.

2000 crore for Gurugram water supply but basic infrastructure still lacking in many parts of Haryana. Hope rural areas also benefit from these projects. Also, Najafgarh waterlogging is decades old problem - good it was discussed but need concrete action plan.
