Good initiative! 55 crore is a significant investment. As a taxpayer, I just hope there is transparency in the spending and regular maintenance is planned. Infrastructure is useless if it breaks down in a year.
Finally! My aunt lives in CP Nagar and has been relying on tankers. This will bring huge relief to so many families. Basic amenities like water should be a right, not a privilege. Kudos to the authorities for this step.
While inaugurating new stations is positive, I hope the focus is also on reducing water loss from old, leaky pipelines across the city. Sustainable water management is key for a growing city like Ahmedabad.
The capacity details are impressive - 250 lakh litres underground! This should solve the low-pressure problems. Now, please do something about the traffic mess near Ghatlodiya bridge. One problem at a time, I guess. 😅
It's good to see development reaching the Gamtal area as well. Often, older settlements get left behind. Inclusive growth is important. Hope the water quality is regularly monitored.
