Gujarat BJP to host 4 special Mann Ki Baat viewing programmes

The BJP's Gujarat unit will organise four special programmes on Sunday to mark the 137th episode of PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat. Senior party leaders including Dr Satish Poonia, Jagdish Vishwakarma, C. R. Patil and Varsha Doshi will watch the broadcast with different community groups. The monthly programme will be aired on Akashvani, Doordarshan and digital platforms at 11 a.m. on August 30.

Gujarat BJP to hold four special programmes for PM Modi's 137th 'Mann Ki Baat' episode

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat will organise special programmes at four locations across the state on Sunday to mark the broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 137th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', with senior party leaders scheduled to watch the monthly programme alongside members of different sections of society.

The 137th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' is scheduled to be broadcast at 11 a.m. on August 30.

The programme has also been confirmed by official government platforms and will be broadcast across the Akashvani and Doordarshan networks and streamed on digital platforms.

According to the party leaders, National General Secretary Dr Satish Poonia will watch the programme with members of the Rajasthani community at Sardar Smarak Bhavan in the Shahibaug area of Ahmedabad.

State BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma will join youths at Pramukh Arcade in Kudasan area of Gandhinagar.

Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Patil will watch the programme with chartered accountants and company secretaries at the Surat City BJP office in Udhna. At the same time, BJP National Vice-President Varsha Doshi will join young farmers at Dudhai in Muli taluka of Surendranagar district.

The party said similar arrangements would be made at all BJP booths across Gujarat, where party leaders, workers and citizens would listen to the programme.

'Mann Ki Baat', broadcast on the last Sunday of every month, highlights the achievements and work of Indians from different parts of the country.

Party leaders said the programme focuses on issues including cleanliness, environmental protection, women's advancement, self-reliance and innovations by young people.

"PM Modi has always talked and highlighted the achievements of our people," they added.

The four programmes in Gujarat have been titled 'Mann Ki Baat - With the Rajasthani Community', 'Mann Ki Baat - With the Youth', 'Mann Ki Baat - With Chartered Accountants' and 'Mann Ki Baat - With Young Farmers'.
