Great move by DPIIT. Esports and game design are finally getting the recognition they deserve as serious career paths. My brother is a game developer in Bangalore, and access to global best practices and PoC development support would be a game-changer for his startup.

While I appreciate the focus on gaming, I hope the government ensures these programs also emphasize responsible gaming and digital wellness. We need to build an ecosystem that is innovative but also mindful of its social impact, especially for younger audiences.

Finally! The Bharat Startup Grand Challenge for gaming is a welcome step. Indian talent in animation and immersive tech is world-class, but we often lack the industry linkage. Hope this leads to more 'Made in India' games on the global stage. 🎮

As someone working in the tech startup space here, this structured engagement is crucial. Hackathons and workshops are good, but the real value is in the potential for pilot collaborations and market access. Hope the execution matches the intent.

A respectful criticism: The government must ensure transparency in the selection process for these challenges and hackathons. The focus should be on merit and innovation, not just connections. That said, partnering with an established player like KRAFTON is a smart move for knowledge transfer.
