It's a sad day for Indian music. We've lost both legends, Lata ji and now Asha ji, in such a short span. An era has truly ended. My condolences to the family. Her voice had a unique spark that could make any song come alive.

While the condolences from political leaders are expected, I wish they'd talk more about her art and less about bringing "name and fame to the country." Her genius was in her expression of universal human emotions, not just national pride.

Her versatility was unbelievable! From the playful "Piya Tu Ab To Aaja" to the soulful "Dil Cheez Kya Hai" – she could do it all. A legend who worked with every major composer for decades. What a life, what a legacy. 🌟

The most recorded artist in history! That Guinness record says it all. She sang for my grandmother, my mother, and for me. Her voice transcended generations. A part of our collective memory is gone. Om Shanti.

It's heartwarming to see people across party lines paying respects. Music truly unites us. Her songs in Marathi and other regional languages were just as beautiful as her Hindi hits. A true daughter of India.
