Good step on paper. But will it break the old boys' club in sports federations? The real test is who gets selected. We need people who prioritize athlete welfare over politics. Fingers crossed.

More committees, more rules. When will we see results on the ground? Our athletes need better facilities, coaches, and funding. Hope this board focuses on that and not just governance paperwork.

As someone who follows sports administration, this is a significant move. The inclusion of "sports law" as a criteria is very forward-thinking. India needs professional governance to become a true sporting powerhouse.

The intent is good, but the committee is chaired by the Cabinet Secretary and has a government secretary. Will it have enough independence? We need sports to be run by sports professionals, not just bureaucrats. A respectful criticism.

This is promising! Hope they select people who understand the struggles of athletes from smaller towns and non-cricket sports. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳 Our athletes deserve the best support system.
