Good on her for not giving up! Voting is our duty. But the administration should ensure the voter list is accurate. So much confusion on election day is unacceptable.

The same thing happened in our society. Many residents' names were missing. We had to form a group and go to the electoral office. The process for checking and correcting details before polls needs to be more widely publicized.

Respectfully, while the system has flaws, we must also take personal responsibility. The EC gives ample time for verification. Many people, including me, checked our details weeks in advance. A little proactiveness goes a long way.

BMC elections are always chaotic. But her positive attitude is inspiring! "This is my right and my duty" – more citizens should have this spirit. Hope she finally got to vote! 🙏

It's 2025 and we still have such basic issues. The tech exists for seamless verification. If we can have UPI for payments, why can't we have a foolproof, centralized voter database? Shameful.
