Impressive results from the junior athletes. Nipam's 11.53 seconds is remarkable, especially considering she's from Uttar Pradesh where training facilities may not be as advanced as in other states. The discus thrower Amanat Kamboj also caught my eye - 52.27m is a strong performance at this level. Great to see so many hitting Asian qualification marks on Day 1.

Yeh to bahut achha hai! Nipam breaking Dutee Chand's meet record is such an inspiration for young girls from small towns. Haryana's Muskan in 5000m also did extremely well with a time of 16:42.88. But I wish more states would invest in grassroots athletics - we have so much talent waiting to be discovered. Just see how many qualified for Asian juniors! 🇮🇳

Congratulations to all winners but need to point out that men's 5000m gold winner Dinesh's time of 14:36.50 is far from the Asian junior qualification time of 14:09.63. While other events showed excellent performances, this event seems to have lacked quality. Hope they work on endurance training. Overall, proud moment for Indian sports. 💪

Outstanding! Abhay Singh's 10.41 seconds - that's 0.05 seconds faster than Asian junior qualification and he broke the meet record too. This is the kind of performance that makes you believe India can win medals at World U20 in Eugene. B Sowndharya from Tamil Nadu equaling pole vault qualification mark is also commendable. Well done, young champs! 🏆
