People's grievances must be resolved at all costs; officials must not show any negligence: Raj CM
Jaipur, June 17
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inspected an urban service camp in Udaipur on Wednesday and reviewed the arrangements.
He interacted with beneficiaries present at the camp, held at the Udaipur Development Authority premises, and gathered feedback regarding the state government's public welfare schemes and the camp itself.
The Chief Minister said that the state government's goal is to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes and government services to the person standing at the very end of the queue.
With this objective, service camps are being organised across urban and rural areas of the state to ensure the prompt resolution of public issues.
He noted that the state government is continuously working to empower every individual economically and socially.
"Through these service camps, matters related to various revenue and civic services, such as the distribution of land lease deeds, mutation of property records, and issuance of birth and death certificates, are being resolved."
He added that follow-up camps would also be organised to address cases requiring additional time due to necessary verification or procedural requirements.
The Chief Minister emphasised that all matters concerning the public, whether small or large, should be treated with seriousness at these camps.
He instructed officials to ensure the resolution of public grievances without fail and warned against any negligence in this regard.
Chief Minister Sharma said that it is the state government's commitment to ensure easy access to basic amenities for all sections of society, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities, women, and marginalised groups.
He directed that issues related to parks, roads, drains, sewerage, electricity, and other urban amenities be resolved on a priority basis.
He urged the public to assist in bringing needy individuals from their neighborhoods to the camps so that eligible persons can receive the benefits of various schemes and services.
He said that the success and effectiveness of these camps depend on the collective participation of public representatives, officials, staff, and citizens.
While inspecting the stalls set up by various departments at the camp, the Chief Minister gathered information about their functioning.
During the event, he distributed land lease deeds, certificates, building construction approvals, financial assistance cheques to beneficiaries of various schemes, and assistive devices to differently-abled persons.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Sharma for the state government's public welfare initiatives.
Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, and Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs Tarachand Jain, Phool Singh Meena, Udaylal Dangi, and Shrichand Kriplani, along with other public representatives, officials, and members of the public, were present on the occasion.

Honestly, I'm an NRI but I have family in Rajasthan. This service camp concept is brilliant - bringing government to people instead of people running around departments. The inclusion of land lease deeds, mutation, birth/death certificates - these are often nightmares for ordinary citizens. Hope officials don't just create a "fun mela" atmosphere and actually resolve issues. 😊
CM Sharma ji ka yeh statement "officials must not show any negligence" bahut important hai. Main Rajasthan mein reh chuka hoon, wahan sarkari offices mein logon ki problem yeh hoti hai ki officers unhe seriously nahi lete. Agar yeh camps actually follow-up karein aur pending cases dekhein to kamaal ho jayega. Happy to see emphasis on senior citizens and disabled persons. 💪
Bhajan Lal Sharma ji ne Udaipur Development Authority mein jo kiya woh ek example hai ki administrative machinery kaise effective ho sakti hai. Lekin yeh bhi sach hai - inn camps ka asli test tab hoga jab log ghar jayenge aur unka issue resolve hua ho ya nahi. "Follow-up camps" ka idea accha hai but execution dekhna hoga. Public participation bhi zaroori hai, lekin officials ki responsibility hai ki woh approachable rahein. 😎
"Yeh sarkar aapke dwaar" concept ka practical implementation. Rajasthan mein often schemes ka benefit aam aadmi tak nahi pahunchta due to middlemen or complex procedures. Agar CM saheb asli mein "last person in queue" ko reach karna chahte hain to camps mein transparency aur fast-track resolution hona chahiye. Hope yeh sirf photo opportunity na ho. Officials ko strict guidelines di gayi hain - ab dekhna hai kit
