New Delhi, June 12
In an interim arrangement, the Jammu and Kashmir Bhawan here has been apportioned between Ladakh and J and K after the two Union territories came into existence since the division of the erstwhile state last year following the revocation of Article 370.
"The second entrance will remain with UT of Jammu iamp; Kashmir along with adjacent new block B, block C and 10 type A staff quarters," said the letter sent by Beena Yadav, Director (Ladakh) in the Home Ministry.
The new territory of Ladakh came into existence on October 31, 2019 through the Jammu iamp; Kashmir Reorganisation Act and since then an advisory committee is working for the apportioning the assets between the two UTs.
