Lemon (Gujarati) Pickle Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 Kg Lemon
• ¾ Cup Salt
• ½ Kg Sugar
• L Tsp Asafetida
• 4 Tsp Red Chili Pepper
• 2 Tsp Turmeric
Method:
• Cut lemon into four pieces.
• Stuff the lemons with salt and turmeric powder.
• Place it in an airtight jar for one month.
• Drain the juice of the lemon.
• To the juice, mix asafetida powder, red chili pepper and sugar.
• Pour this juice over the lemons in the jar.
