Almond Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 
• 1 Cup Butter
• 2 Cups White Sugar
• 6 Eggs
• 1¾ Cup Maida Flour
• ½ Tsp Salt
• 2 Tsp Almond Extract
• 8 Ounces Almond Paste
• 1 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
• 4 Tbsp Milk
• ½ Cup Blanched Almonds
• 2 Drops Red Food Coloring
• 2 Drops Green Food Coloring

Method: 
• In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar together until well mixed.
• Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until mixture is light.
• Blend in flour and salt.
• Mix almond extract.
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
• Bake for 60 minutes.
• Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
• Decorate with almond paste.
• Give required food coloring.
• Mix 1 cup confectioners' sugar and milk in a bowl.
• When the cake has cooled, drizzle with the confectioners' sugar glaze.
• Top with blanched almonds.
