2nd ODI: Australia beat South Africa by 7 runs
Adelaide [Australia], Nov 09 : Australia ended their seven-match losing streak to beat South Africa by 7 runs to ensure a series-levelling victory in the second ODI in Adelaide.
Set 232 to win, the Proteas only managed to reach 224 for 9 in 50 overs, leaving the series tied at 1-1. The Proteas were too sluggish with the bat, despite batsman David Miller's stubborn 51 off 71 deliveries.
Miller, however, was removed by Marcus Stonis, who was the star among the Aussie bowlers, as he scalped three wickets for 35 runs.
With the series now levelled 1-1, the decider will now be played in Hobart on Sunday.
