New Executive Level Promotions at Woodland Foods

WAUKEGAN, Ill: WOODLAND FOODS, importer, and supplier of dried ingredients, has promoted Aram Karapetian to Chief Operating Officer reporting directly to David Moore, Chief Executive Officer and President, effective immediately.

In his new role, Karapetian will be responsible for all operations, sales, purchasing, and new product development for Woodland Foods.

Karapetian previously held the titles of Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Director of Sales. He has been with Woodland Foods for nearly 14 years. Under his leadership, the company has launched retail brands and an E-commerce platform and has seen significant growth in all sectors, including established food service and industrial business. This success is reflected in the company's expansion to a multi-building facility boasting 450,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space in Northern Illinois and an eightfold increase in staff.

"Aram Karapetian is uniquely qualified to synchronize our commitment to best-in-class customer service, order fulfillment and product innovation with all departments within our organization," said David Moore. "He has shown tremendous leadership during his time as VP of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the expansion of product development, strengthening our supply chain and forging relationships with strategic partners. His experience in managing rapid growth is unparalleled, and I'm confident that he will lead Woodland Foods to even greater success."

Additionally, Robert Linder has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing after five years as Director of Sales and Marketing and is now responsible for all domestic sales, marketing, and public relations for Woodland Foods, effective immediately. As Director of Sales and Marketing, Linder was responsible for the development and expansion of inside sales, customer service, and the company's private label program. He has also been integral in the successful launch of Manitou Trading Company, Woodland Foods' first consumer-facing brand, as well as the recent expansion of marketing staff and resources.

Finally, Paul Nagy has been promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain after three years as Director of Purchasing at Woodland Foods. Nagy will now oversee all sourcing and vendor approval functions, along with some operations functions. During his time at Woodland Foods, Nagy has been responsible for establishing greater transparency in sourcing along with the rapid expansion of Woodland Foods' selection of organic ingredients.
