Tech Data CEO Rich Hume Recognized on CRN's List of Top 100 Executives
CLEARWATER, Fla: Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Rich Hume, Tech Data's chief executive officer, to its 2018 list of Top 100 Executives.
Hume became CEO of Tech Data in June 2018 after serving two years as executive vice president, chief operating officer. During his time as COO, in addition to overseeing the company's regional operations, he played an instrumental role in a transformational acquisition, leveraging his extensive technology industry experience and deep operational expertise to create a long-term global strategy for the combined company. Prior to joining Tech Data, Hume spent more than 30 years at IBM, holding a variety of global executive positions.
