Jordan, US finalise details of 2019 aid cash transfer

Amman, Nov 14 : The US Embassy in Jordan said that the Jordanian and US governments are finalizing the details of the 2019 cash transfer as part of the assistance to Jordan. In a statement obtained by Xinhua on Wednesday, the embassy said this year's assistance to Jordan is in accordance with last year's.

The promised bilateral foreign assistance is a minimum of $1.275 billion per year over a five-year period, the embassy added, citing the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Jordan in February 2018.
