NATO vows to step up role in fighting terrorism

Brussels, July 12 : The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) members are determined to step up its role in the fight against terrorism, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday.
According to a declaration issued on Wednesday, NATO country leaders decided to increase assistance to the Afghan Security Forces, providing more trainers and extending financial support.
NATO members also decided to set up a new counter-hybrid support teams and to draw on national cyber capabilities to address hybrid threats.
