Salvation Army Holiday Campaign with Denver Mattress Hits Record Milestone

DENVER: When the books close on The Salvation Army Intermountain Division's Together Doing Even More Good holiday campaign, charitable donations this year will be at an all-time high of nearly USD 600,000.

That equates to over one and a half million dollars raised in the last three years during the short Thanksgiving to Christmas window. Not included in this figure is the annual match by the Colorado-based Denver Mattress Company on the first $150,000 raised — boosting the three-year total to more than $2 million.

First introduced in 2016, the Together Doing Even More Good campaign leveraged The Salvation Army's popular tagline to highlight the unique benefits of the Intermountain Division's matching gift program. As it has for the past 19 years, Denver Mattress augmented its financial gift by contributing strategic, creative, and paid media support to the campaign.

The incredible response to our campaign will directly impact the lives of so many in our community, says Divisional Commander Major Mike Dickinson. Coming together on behalf of those in need without discrimination is true to who we are as Coloradans and goes to the very heart of The Salvation Army. Importantly, the folks at Denver Mattress once again came alongside us to help do that much more.

Denver Mattress president Dan Visser adds, We truly value our longstanding relationship with The Salvation Army and share in their anticipation of what these additional resources will mean for individuals and families in our community. It's always an honor to be part of such important work.
