While the process seems smooth, I wish there was more public awareness about the Vice President's role. Many Indians don't realize how important this constitutional position is in our democracy.

The resignation of Dhankhar ji was quite sudden! Health comes first though. Hope the new candidate will be someone with strong parliamentary experience. The Rajya Sabha chairman's role is crucial for smooth functioning.

EC is doing good work by keeping everything transparent. But I think the nomination period of just 20 days is too short for such an important position. Parties need more time to deliberate.

The VP election process is one of the few things that still works efficiently in our system! Same day counting shows EC's capability. Hope they maintain this standard for all elections 🙏

Interesting to see how the single transferable vote system works here. We should have more educational content explaining these constitutional processes to common citizens. Democracy works best when people understand it!
