As someone who recently moved to Uttarakhand, I find these local festivals fascinating. The celebration of harvest and prosperity reminds me of Thanksgiving back home. Beautiful to see cultural preservation efforts!

While I appreciate the sentiment, I hope the government also focuses on practical issues like infrastructure and employment in Uttarakhand. Cultural preservation is important, but so is development that benefits all citizens.

Celebrated Igas with my family in Dehradun yesterday. The rituals, traditional food, and community bonding make this festival truly special. Good to see our CM acknowledging its importance.
