In the women's singles final, top seed Hooda produced a composed performance to defeat compatriot Isharani Baruah 21-17, 21-10 in just over half an hour. Hooda controlled the rallies from the outset, denying Baruah the momentum that had powered her impressive run through the draw, said a release.

Great to see Odisha hosting such a prestigious event. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium looked fantastic. Both finals were thrilling, though I wish there was more coverage on TV. These young players deserve all the spotlight!

Kiran George showed real grit in that third game. Beating an Indonesian player is never easy, they are so tough. Full marks to his stamina and strategy. Onwards to the Syed Modi International now!

Congratulations to all winners! While the singles results are brilliant, we need to seriously work on our doubles game. India didn't win any doubles title, and Indonesia dominated. BAI should focus on specialized doubles training programs.

Impressive performance overall. The depth in Indian badminton is increasing, which is great to see. Unnati's straight-games win in the final shows her dominance. More such tournaments in India will help our players immensely.
