Great to see Gulf airports expanding! Many Indians transit through Sharjah when traveling to Europe/North America. Better facilities will make our journeys smoother. Hope they include more Indian food options too! 🇮🇳✈️

Impressive growth numbers! But I wonder if this expansion will lead to more direct flights from Indian cities beyond the usual metros. Tier 2 cities like Lucknow or Coimbatore could benefit from better Gulf connectivity.

While Gulf airports modernize, our Indian airports need to keep pace. Delhi T1 expansion is taking forever! UAE shows how infrastructure projects should be executed on time. Hope our aviation ministry takes notes.

The 39% growth in air freight is most interesting. With India-UAE trade growing post-CEPA agreement, this could mean faster delivery of our exports like textiles and gems. Good for Make in India initiative!

Sharjah Airport has always been more budget-friendly than Dubai. Hope the expansion doesn't make it expensive like others. Many Indian workers and students depend on affordable Gulf travel options.

Smart services expansion is welcome! Last time I transited through Sharjah, the WiFi was painfully slow. With so many Indian passengers, they should prioritize tech upgrades. Maybe tie-up with Indian digital payment systems too?
