China-Pakistan friendship on full display here. While it's good to see humanitarian aid reaching flood victims, I can't help but think about the strategic implications of such deep cooperation between our neighbors. The infrastructure damage numbers are staggering - 1,981 km of roads destroyed!

The children's deaths are particularly heartbreaking 💔 110 in Punjab alone. As someone who experienced flooding in my own state last year, I know how devastating this can be. Hope the relief reaches the actual affected families and isn't lost to corruption.

Working in disaster management myself, I'm impressed by the scale of rescue operations - 5,768 operations saving over 3 million people is remarkable. The medical camps treating 662,000 people shows good coordination between military and civilian authorities.

While China's aid is welcome, only 300 tents and 9,000 blankets seems quite minimal given the scale of displacement. With 12,569 homes affected, this is just a drop in the ocean. Hope more international aid reaches soon.

The livestock loss of 6,509 animals will have long-term impact on rural livelihoods. This is often overlooked in disaster reporting. Hope the rehabilitation includes support for farmers to rebuild their livelihoods, not just immediate relief.
