Ooty remains one of our favorite summer destinations! The boat race adds such a fun element to the Summer Festival. Next year I'm definitely participating with my husband in the couples category. The Nilgiris never disappoint! 🌸

Good initiative by TN tourism department. But they should improve safety measures - last year my cousin saw some participants without life jackets. Otherwise, Ooty is perfect for summer vacations.

The boat house is such a peaceful spot! I remember going there as a child with my parents. Seeing this festival grow over the years makes me proud of our Tamil Nadu tourism. Maybe next time they can include a children's category too?

Just returned from Ooty yesterday! The weather was amazing but the crowds were too much. Boat race is a nice idea to engage tourists, but administration should limit daily entries to maintain the hill station's charm.

So happy to see women's participation in these events! When I visited Ooty in the 90s, such activities were rare for women. Progress! 👏 The Summer Festival menu should also include more local Nilgiri cuisine though.

Boat races are part of our South Indian culture - reminds me of Kerala's Nehru Trophy race. Good to see TN promoting similar events. But they should announce dates earlier so people can plan better. Missed it this year due to last minute plans.
