Tripura CM attends flood relief & management programme for 700 victims

Agartala, February 11: A flood relief and management programme was organised at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan here. The purpose of the event was to help victims of the flood which recently hit the state. Several organisations have taken a step forward to help the victims affected by the calamity. On Tuesday, a programme was organised by Abhay Mission and was attended by CM Manik Saha.

ONGC to augment gas production in Tripura: Official

Agartala, Feb 7: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is aiming to achieve a target of four Million Metric Standard Cubic Meters Per Day (MMSCMD) gas production in Tripura. Chief General Manager (CGM) of ONGC, Roopesh Kumar Sharan said, adding that presently, the oil and gas major currently produces 3.5 MMSCMD in Tripura, which has huge natural gas reserves in different parts of the state.

Tripura CM Saha inaugurates State Level Teaching Learning Material exhibition in Agartala

Agartala, February 6: The State Level Teaching Learning Material (TLM) exhibition and competition was inaugurated by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha at the Rabindra Shatabarshi Bhawan, Agartala, on Thursday. The event, aimed at promoting innovative and low-cost TLMs in schools, saw the participation of over 160 hand-made teaching materials from teachers across all eight districts of Tripura.

New Delhi, February 5: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday addressed a distribution program of over 2,800 appointment letters in the Tripura government, saying that joining the communist party cadre was no longer a requirement for jobs in Tripura. He said that Tripura has been transformed from a "land-locked" state to "land-linked" one.
