Tim Seifert joins RCB as temporary replacement for Jacob Bethell

Bengaluru, May 22: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have roped in New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert as a short-term replacement for England's Jacob Bethell, who is set to return home for national duties. Seifert will be available for selection from May 24 as per a media advisory from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Seifert joins the Unicorns with a wealth of top-level experience in international cricket with 66 T20I caps and over 250 franchise appearances to his name with teams including the Kolkata Knight Riders, Melbourne Renegades, and Northern Districts in his native New Zealand.

Chapman to miss second ODI vs Pak with hamstring injury

Hamilton, April 1: New Zealand batter Mark Chapman will miss the second Chemist Warehouse ODI against Pakistan in Hamilton, on Wednesday (IST) due to a right hamstring injury. Chapman sustained the injury while fielding during the first ODI in Napier and a subsequent MRI scan revealed a grade one tear which will require a short period of rehabilitation.
