MP seeks public opinion for 'Vision 2047'

Bengal Budget 2025-26: State to end fiscal with Rs 7.72 lakh cr accumulated debt

Kolkata, Feb 12: The West Bengal government will end the financial year 2025-26 with an accumulated debt figure of around Rs 7.72 lakh crore, as indicated in the documents of the state budget for the fiscal under review which was presented by the West Bengal minister of state for finance (independent charge) Chandrima Bhattacharya on the floor of the Assembly on Wednesday.

Maha govt sets up 9-member Project Management Unit for development of MMR as growth hub

Mumbai, Feb 5: The Maharashtra government on Wednesday appointed a nine member Project Management Unit (PMU) headed by the additional chief secretary of housing department for the implementation of the NITI Aayog's report on making the bursting Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) a growth hub with a $300 billion economy by 20230 from the present level of $140 billion.
