Giro d'Italia 2025: Mads Pedersen powers to fourth win in stage 13

Tagliacozza, May 24: Majestic Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) surged to a fourth win in the Giro d'Italia after outkicking Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) and pink jersey Isaac del Toro (UAE Emirates-XRG) on the uphill finish at Vicenza. It was a fifth win of the race for the Danish powerhouse's Lidl-Trek team. Bonus seconds saw Del Toro extend his general classification lead to 38 seconds over team-mate Juan Ayuso.

Pedersen battled back after being dropped on the tough climb into Matera before holding off Italy's Edoardo Zambanini (Bahrain Victorious) and Britain's Tom Pidcock (Q36.5 Pro Cycling) in a nail-biting sprint to the finish line.

Tirana, May 11: Josh Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers) lived up to his pre-stage favourite tag by claiming victory in the Time Trial on Stage 2 of the 2025 Giro d'Italia. After storming into the lead, the 21-year-old was made to sweat as Primoz Roglic (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) looked to leapfrog him but fell just a second short. The Slovenian did, however, take the overall race lead from Mads Pedersen.
