Piyush Goyal set for Oman visit, CEPA talks to get further impetus

New Delhi, January 26: Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, will visit Muscat, Oman for the 11th Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) with his counterpart Qais bin Mohammed bin Moosa al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Sultanate of Oman from 27-28 January 2025.

Muscat, January 9: Khalid bin Sulaiman Al Salhi, Director General in the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayen), Oman on Thursday spoke about investment potential between the two countries and said there is a huge potential between the two countries when it comes to investment between Oman and India.

GCC population reaches 57.6 million in 2023

Muscat, January 4: The population of the six GCC countries reached 57.6 million in 2023, compared to 56.6 million in 2022. Males accounted for 62.4per cent of the total population, while females made up 37.6 per cent.
